In a serene rural setting, we designed two compact houseboats, each offering a unique architectural style—one featuring a flat roof and the other a charming pent roof. These holiday homes are nestled along a wide river, providing easy access to a beautiful landscape dotted with lakes and additional waterways.

Both houseboats are designed with large windows and a high ceiling in the dining and kitchen areas, creating a bright, airy atmosphere that offers spectacular views of the water and the surrounding farmlands. This design makes them an ideal retreat for relaxation and enjoyment of nature.

To enhance functionality, we incorporated a split-level floor plan. This innovative approach allows for additional sleeping areas in the basement while elevating the living area above the kitchen. This elevation not only maximizes views of the picturesque surroundings but also creates a cozy yet spacious environment for guests to unwind and appreciate their tranquil surroundings.
