For the famous Paagman Bookshop a new facade and entrance was designed. The shop stated in 1951 at a stree corner in the middle of the Statenkwartier area of The Hague is well know by the local people.
This bookshop is more than books and has a restaurant and podium for writers to present their books. The shop is located on a nice location near the beach area of Scheveningen.
For the design of the main entrance we created references to the city The Hague, the district Scheveningen, the streetnames referring to the kingdom family members and of course the family name of Paagman. All references are incorporated in a design of a 22 m1 black hand-crafted iron fencing with gilded elements which apears to shineas a crown entrance to all cusotomers to enter the shop.
