On 19 November 2025, the renewed Laakkwartier Library in The Hague designed by +31ARCHITECTS was officially reopened following an extensive renovation. Alderman for Libraries Klaas Verschuure and director Sam Hermans, together with many local residents in attendance, officially opened the modernised library by cutting the ribbon.
